Visit Blooms Social On A Fresh Floral Journey of Discovery at Fleurs de Villes
I am honored to again be participating in the Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE A Fresh Floral Journey of Discovery a “fresh floral journey of discovery and iconic global storytelling” at Bal Harbour Shops from March 3-12. Fleurs de Villes combines the love of flowers, local design talent and bespoke, utterly unique displays, for experiential events like none other. This 10-day cultural event showcases 28 fresh, luxurious, floral installations created by South Florida’s most creative florists and inspired by Baroness Karen Blixen whose memoir about her time in Kenya inspired the movie Out of Africa and the legendary Amelia Earhart.
Fleur de Ville 2023 VOYAGE debuts in Bal Harbour, and the floral adventure will circle the globe as it continues on to Costa Mesa (L.A.), Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, New York City and Boston, with more cities to be announced soon.
Fleurs de Villes is an international luxury experiential brand that creates bespoke floral events with top local floral designers to showcase each city’s world-class talent and create stunning displays of art.
Blooms Social is beyond delighted to be invited to create 2 floral installations for my 2nd year at Fleurs de Villes. I am delighted and inspired working with such amazingly talented floral colleagues. VOYAGE not only features floral installations at Bal Harbour Shops, a collection of outdoor mannequins and other flower-enhanced public art pieces are on display around Bal Harbour Village including mannequins at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour and The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort.
Bloom Social At Fleurs de Villes
My first floral installation for Fleurs de Villes will be at the doorway of GRAFF, home to fine diamonds and gems of unparalleled rarity, perfection and unrivaled beauty. Throughout its rich history, Graff has become the world leader for diamonds of rarity, magnitude and distinction. Perhaps most notably, the House has dominated the list of historical and important rough diamonds discovered, cut and polished this century.

My second will be a fresh floral mannequin of Caroline Astor at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. The St. Regis has their most cherished rituals inspired by the tirelessly inventive mind of Gilded Age doyenne, Caroline Astor dating back to the 1800s. She invited only her select, hand-picked ‘400’ acquaintances, friends and luminaries to private teas, midnight suppers and affluent galas, creating America’s first high society register. As artists, visionaries and influencers of all kinds vied for inclusion, her social circle evolved to shape the first true expression of New York Society.
